General
TIGRAM is a web-based and mobile application developed for private forest owners to apply for transit passes for non-exempted tree species and NOCs for exempted species, ensuring hassle-free timber transport across Kerala.
If the forest officer does not approve the application within 20 days after the Revenue Department's approval, the system automatically marks the application as deemed approved.
The TIGRAM mobile app supports Android versions 6 to 11. Download it from the official website or from the portal footer.
Transit Pass
A transit pass is issued by the forest department for intra-state transportation of timber for non-exempted species as per the Forest Act. Non-exempted species requiring a transit pass:

An applicant can apply for a transit pass only after the Revenue Department approves the application.
  • Applicant registers in the system and submits an application for a transit pass.
  • The application is processed by concerned officers.
  • After verification and field inspection, the transit pass is issued.
  • The applicant can download the pass from the 'Check Pass Status' option.
Documents required include:
  • Revenue Application document
  • Revenue Approval document
  • Declaration document
  • Tree Ownership Proof
  • Location Sketch
Documents must be uploaded in .jpg, .jpeg, or .png format.
Yes. Download the transit pass from the 'Check Pass Status' option and print it.
Log in and click 'Check Pass Status' on the user dashboard to track your transit pass status in real time.
Log in, go to 'Check Pass Status', and click the 'Download' link under the Download TP column.
Officers can edit wood log details during or after verification/field inspection.
No. A No Objection Certificate (NOC) is issued for exempted species, while a transit pass is for non-exempted species. They are separate documents.
Select 'Yes' to enter vehicle details like registration number, driver's name, and license copy during application submission. It is not mandatory.
Click 'Yes' after 'Would you like to enter log details?' and enter length, girth, and location coordinates. The system calculates volume automatically. It is not mandatory.
No Objection Certificate (NOC)
An NOC is required for transporting exempted species as per Forest Department rules. You can apply for an NOC at any time after verifying that the species falls in the exempted category.
A valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, or Government ID) and details of the exempted timber species are required.
Registration & Account
Click the 'Register' button on the homepage and enter your name, email, password, and mobile number. Acceptable identity proofs include:
  • Aadhaar card
  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • Government ID
  • Voter Identity Card
Use your registered email address and the password set during registration to log in.
Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page, enter your registered email or mobile number, and follow the OTP verification process to set a new password.
Click the 'Logout' button at the top-right on the website, or tap the three-line menu on the mobile app and select 'Log out'.

The following species are exempted — transport requires an NOC only:
